Dr. Brian Hurd

Brian is an honours graduate of the University of Toronto School of Dentistry in 1973. He interned at the Hospital for Sick Children for one year and then returned to study the specialty of orthodontics. Following two years of post-graduate education, he was certified as an orthodontic specialist in 1976. Upon graduation, he moved to Burlington to set up his practice. He is a clinical instructor in the graduate department of the University of Toronto. Brian is an active participant in professional associations and has held executive positions with the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Association of Orthodontists, Ontario Society of Orthodontists and is a past-president of the Burlington Dental Academy. Brian and his wife, Nancy live in Burlington where they have raised their family of six children.
