Dental Hygienists
Dental hygienists are dental professionals who are trained at university or college to perform certain intra-oral procedures in dental offices. In our office, they will be placing braces, changing wires, taking x-rays and impressions, inserting appliances and removing braces under Dr. Hurd’s direction and supervision.


Dental Assistants
Dental assistants have completed college courses and trained to assist chairside and take x-rays. Lin and Tammy have also completed their PDA diploma which also enables them to take impressions and polish teeth for the placement of bands and brackets by the hygienists.

Administration
Our front desk personnel are thoroughly knowledgeable about orthodontics and will be able to answer any of the questions you may have regarding appointments, insurance claims, accounts, etc.
